PRINTING HOUSE
Baseera has a printing house that aims to convert text Braille, and figures to 3D. This is used for different purposes including:
- Printing educational and other cultural books in Braille and convert geography, geometry, and science figures in 3D
We ensure that the pages of the books we print include both Braille and standard text to assist those who support the children in their education, whether the parent or the teacher. While many children who are blind use computers, having an excellent command of Braille is vital in their learning so they would not solely depend on technologies and be able to read and pronounce properly.
- Printing guides and labels of public exhibitions and museums in Braille, and transforming art work into 3D
Under the government’s direction towards making cultural museums and exhibitions accessible to people with disabilities in general (including people with visual impairment), Baseera collaborates with museums and art exhibitions to print their guides and labels in Braille, and to transform some the exhibited work into 3D.
- Printing Banks’ applications in Braille
This also falls under the government’s direction towards people with disabilities, to make the banking services accessible
