Moaz Mahmoud is an 8-year-old low-vision student in the 2nd grade. He is registered in the Egyptian International School Al Sheikh Zayed (1st governmental school offering the IB diploma. Moaz was awarded several recognition certificates for achieving the following:

• He was one of the top five students in the spelling bee that took place at his school
• He was awarded a Music certificate for singing and playing the drums
• He was awarded a Quran certificate in a competition outside the school for two parts (Juz2)
